Music Xray is a digital music company based in New York City. The company's official name is Platinum Blue Music Intelligence Inc but it began operating under the name Music Xray in July 2009. The company bills itself as "a platform that enables musicians to interact directly with top music industry professionals" and "an enhanced A&R platform". The professionals on the site provide a range of services to artists from considering songs for specific opportunities to offering song critiques and career coaching. For artists, Music Xray provides a conduit to top gatekeepers and professional feedback at a fraction of the time and expense it would require via any other means. For industry professionals Music Xray is a tool that helps them receive, manage, share and make sense of the music submissions"

The firm uses statistical software to analyze musical compositions. According to an article in The New Yorker, the firm claims to be able to predict hit songs with eighty-percent accuracy.[1] After analysis, the firm sometimes offers broad suggestions for improvement in a song. Music Xray was founded by Mike McCready, formerly of Polyphonic HMI of Barcelona, Spain and Tracie Reed formerly of Polyphonic HMI of Barcelona.

On June 5, 2010 the company launched a song to opportunity (S2O) matching system that uses advanced music analysis software to alert musicians when their songs contain the musical characteristics that an industry professional is seeking.
